What Could Have Been Love Will Never Be

I've had this military jacket for like 3 years or so, but it is one of my fave jackets ever. (It's so Michael Jackson...which is appropriate because his Birthday was August 29th, would have been 54) Anyways....I paired the jacket with a silver studded black tank top and red skinny jeans. Finished the look with my ever popular spike studded heels by Candies.

The title of this post is a lyric from one of two new Aerosmith songs released Aug 28th off their upcoming album. What Could Have Been Love is a 80's love ballad style single. I immediately fell in love with the lyrics, melody and Steven's legendary rasp singing of love and heart break. Sigh.

I wake up and wonder
How everything went wrong
Am I the one to blame?
I gave up and left you
For nowhere by a train
Now that train has come and gone
I close my eyes and see you
Lying in my bed
And I still dream of that day

What could have been love
Should have been the only thing
That was meant to be
Didn't know, couldn't see
What was right in front of me
And now that I'm alone
All I have is emptiness
That comes from being free
What could have been love
Will never be

An old friend told me
That you found somebody new
Oh you're finally movin' on
Oh you think that I'd be over you
After all these years
Yeah, but time has proved me wrong
Cause I'm still holding on

What could have been love
Should have been the only thing
That was meant to be
Didn't know, couldn't see
What was right in front of me
And now that I'm alone
All I have is emptiness
That comes from being free
What could have been love
Will never be

We've gone our separate ways
Say goodbye to another day
I still wonder where you are
And are you too far from turning back
You were slippin' through my hands
And I didn't understand

What could have been love
Should have been the only thing
That was meant to be
Didn't know, couldn't see
What was right in front of me
And now that I'm alone
All I have is emptiness
That comes from being free
What could have been love
Will never be

What could have been love will never be
What could have been love

Mint Green

This is my new mint green sheer blouse. It's actually just like the leopard print one in my last look but a different color and plain. I paired it with a nude tank and a beaded necklace I made with tans, teals and brown beads. With my white denim mini and nude stiletto's I think it all ties together nicely. The silver bracelet is new...I tried it on last week in kohls and loved it but it wasn't on sale at the time so I didn't get it. Since then I had $10 worth of Kohls cash for my last purchase there and had found a pic of Steven Tyler wearing a very similar silver bracelet. (great minds think alike!) So when I went back to spend my Kohls cash and found the bracelet on sale...I of course had to buy it!

...I was enchanted to meet you

I just bought this amazing leopard print button up sheer blouse at Kohls. A flyer with a 20% off coupon came in the mail and one of the models was wearing this blouse, I had to go buy it. So I went to Kohls to use my coupon and buy this amazing shirt. I went in for a shirt and as always find other stuff I feel I need...like these amazing flare jeans that fit me perfectly and the black boots I am wearing. So I knotted the leopard print blouse at the waist and paired it with the new jeans. Anyways to accessorize this outfit I added a brown woven belt, my brown leather fringe bag and my wooden over sized cross necklace. I am also wearing a beaded necklace with brown tans, teals and cream colored wooden and metal beads...it's similar to the one I made and gave to Steven Tyler. Some additional photos

In another life, I would be your girl

Here is another look in this great wild streak top from nastygal.com. This time I knotted the sheer black and leopard top at the waist and paired it with my red skinny pants, black slit belt and bow tie & plaid stilettos by Candies.

This video is so very sad

Black, White & Blue

Here is my new blue sheer tank! I love this shirt, the color is awesome. I've had this vintage Michael Jackson trucker hat for a long time and don't think I've ever posted a look in it til now. I put on my white denim mini and my new black converse sneakers and that's all folks!

Birthday Attire

So, today is my 28th Birthday, so this look I posted on lookbook I named Birthday Attire. Very original I know. hahaha.

I had been wanting a black sheer top with stars on it and while shopping at TJ Maxx my friend found this and showed it to me. It was just what I had envisioned and I bought it. I paired it with white flare pants, black peep toe heels and my white Candies blazer. I thought it turned out nice.

Steven Tyler DIY tank

I took a Men's Steven Tyler graphic T-shirt and transformed it into a girly tank top. I found this awesome snow leopard print fabric at JoAnn Fabrics and made this skirt from it. I paired them with red suede wedges and my fave studded bag. I'm quite proud of this outfit since I made it, so I hope you like it!

Wild Streak

This amazing black & cheetah print sheer top is from nastygal.com I was browsing clothes on there and saw this and fell instantly in love with it...and later came back and bought it. I paired this with dark denim skinnies and my nude high heels. Here I wore the top over a nude tank but sometimes wear it over a black tank. To finish this look I added my over-sized wooden/brass cross necklace.
