Today me and my best friend drove down to Louisville Kentucky to see Daughtry in concert! The show was amazing, this is what I wore!

Vintage Aerosmith Concert T-Shirt

Aerosmith is my favorite American Rock & Roll band! I kind of collect regular band shirts and concert shirts of theirs. This is my newest. It is from the PUMP tour in 1989. I scored it on eBay for $25, when this shirt usually sells for $50-$100 on eBay.

Here Comes The Sun

I really love this forever 21 red dress. I've already done a look in it, but it's so bright and comfy!! This time I paired the dress with a white studded double wrap belt, my red peep toe heels once again, aviator sunglasses and a string of pearls.

Michael Jackson Shirt

Michael Jackson DIY shirt. I found this awesome black and white Michael Jackson photo shirt at Urban Outfitters on sale for $10! It's a men's shirt so I cut cut the waist shorter and cut the top to give it a fun 80's style off the shoulder slouch look.

I paired the shirt with a studded double wrap belt MJ style and a pink ruffle skirt.I hope you like it, I do!

Floral & Plaid

I've posted a look in this floral and denim dress once before but I switched up the accessories/shoes. This is more of a country/southern girl look with the denim and floral dress, so I paired it with my new studded ankle boots and a plaid scarf.

I wanna dance with somebody

I already posted this look, but you couldn't see my feet in the other photos.

I found this cute black dress on eBay while browsing through clothes. I paired it with a cross necklace and some wedges.

Pink Lace

Pink lace dress from Forever 21, tights, suede studded boots and some pearls and a locket. Look is finished!

Lady in Red

This red dress from Forever 21 is super comfy and I love the simpleness to it, but it also is super flowy and pretty! I paired it with some red peep toe patent leather heels! Hype me on lookbook!

Studded Pink

When I saw this sweetheart dress on the forever21 website I just had to buy it. This dress is lovely all by itself but I decided to add a double wrap studded belt to give it some more character. I paired it with my Candies stiletto's. I hope you like it!

Fairy Princess

I bought this pretty lavender beaded dress from a seller in China on eBay. The skirt is lavender and the bodice a cream color with clear, teal and silver sewn sequins and glass beading. To go with the lovely dress I wore purple and light blue eye shadow and braided a few strands of my hair. I hope you like it.

When everything falls apart, Your arms hold me together

I bought this amazing green half sweater a few months ago for $10 at Body Central. The sweater always looks turquoise in photos but is actually more of a true green color. Since it is a short sweater I needed something to go under it, and I opted for a grey gauzy layered tier plaid tank top. I paired it with bootcut jeans and high heel gray boots, It's a more casual look but thought it would look nice with a multi-strand necklace of pearls, locket and chains. I hope you like it.

Love wasn't much of a friend of mine

Over the weekend I went to Plato's closet for a little thrift shopping and found this fun black studded tank originally from Wet Seal. I love the shiny bling to it and the over-sized drape fit. I thought it would look different worn under a plaid shirt. I added the bandanna, earrings and chain necklace to mix things up. I paired it with a basic pair of dark skinny jeans rolled up to capris and my checkered stiletto's that have a big bow on the toe. I hope you like it!

All dressed up and nowhere to go

My new dress from Forever 21! I bought it because I thought it was super cute and it was only $15. I really don't go anywhere fun where I could wear it though. Maybe I can wear it with leggings and my drape cardigan and some boots to the Daughtry concert in March!?

Blue Velvet

I found this sleeveless blue crushed velvet dress by Forever 21 on eBay brand new! Velvet can be iffy but I thought in this case it would look super cute on. I paired the dress with some cream colored ankle boots and a simple big silver heart locket.

"I'm every woman, it's all in me" ~R.I.P. Whitney

I ordered this sweater online from alloy. I had been looking for a beige or brown sweater with large black leopard spots for a while now...what made it even better, it was on sale for $14.99. Score! Since the sweater is short waisted, I paired it with my black high waisted skirt, black leggings and beige vera wang platform wedge boots!

Steven Tyler Signature Shirt

This Steven Tyler signature t-shirt is part of the rocker inspired style from the Andrew Charles line.

Mr. Tyler...I have a crush on you!

I love my new chained suede black boots! Boots of this sort always remind me of the lead singer of my fave band...Aerosmith. Steven Tyler always rocked amazing boots of the sort, minus the high heel of course. So I had to pair my new boots with my Steven Tyler tank dress. I wore a pinstripe skirt under the dress, tights, a drape cardigan and a fun sequin scarf.

Jesus is my Hero

I found this amazing "Jesus is my Hero" t-shirt on eBay. I made it into a tank top by cutting it and sewing it back together. I took a strip of the shirt and tied it around my head as a head band. I wanted to emphasize the bold fun color in the shirt so I paired the shirt with a blue cardigan. I decided a long skirt with over the knee boots would look fun with this. I hope you like it.

I bought this fun leopard print skirt from forever 21 and paired it with a flowy sheer black top. To contrast the top I wore a white tank underneath and wore a brown skinny belt to cinch my waist. I accessorized with a basic pearl and chain strand necklace and studded cuff bracelet. The shoes are these great tan and black trim wedges that are adorned with a single pretty black bow on each. I found the wedges on sale for $4 at Rue 21. One of my best purchases as of late!

Clothing loves & hates

LoVeS

1. Animal print, especially leopard. Now I think animal prints should be worn in moderation with more basic/plain pieces of clothing so you don't end up with an out of control trashy look. I am usually drawn toward more classic/traditional print colors not tacky stuff like lime green zebra print or something else of the sort. When done right I think animal prints are a great way to add a little edge to an outfit.

2. Printed tights. Right now I am in love with prints such as hearts, stars, polka dots, bows, stripes or floral designs on tights. Their just adorable!

3. I love cutting the shoulders off t-shirts for a cute off the shoulder look.  I think it’s a way to recirculate old t-shirts back into your current wardrobe. Consider it my own tribute to the 1980’s I guess. (My tribute to Michael Jackson, the original shirt design came from a girl on lookbook, this is a replica of hers)

4. Sequins. On tops, mini-skirts, jackets, head wraps and scarves. Adding a sequins piece to an outfit automatically ups the wow factor.

5. Boots. No matter the year, the current style/latest fashions I always have a great love for boots. I own a ridiculous amount of boots! Black seems to be my fave because I own the most of them but I also have some shades of brown, grey, red and cream colored boots.  I love combat boots, but boots with buckles straps and studs I especially favor. (I believe this stems from my childhood love of Steven Tyler and Michael Jackson’s fashion in the 80’s and 90’s)

6. Dresses. I own/wear a lot of dresses. I like the girly factor of a great fitting dress and for the most part they are super comfy.

7. I love lace, not excessive amounts or anything but a little lace here and there on a dress, top, hair wrap or frilly skirt is so feminine and pretty!

8. Leather jackets. I like them even better when they are personalized with studs, zippers, buckles etc.

 HaTeS

1. Camouflage in any form; hats, pants, jackets, skirts, purses, bandanas etc. I especially hate odd colored camo, such as hot pink or blue.... Shudder. In my opinion camo is to be worn if you serve in the armed forces or for hunting. 

2. Poorly fitting Khaki pants. This one is more so something that bugs me on guys, not so much when girls wear them. I hate when guys wear khaki pants that are too big, too long or even pleated. I am not sure why this is perceived as a go-to dressy look for a majority of men. I hate it.

3. Crocks. No explanation needed.

4. Jean shirts, I know people are wearing them again, but I'm not a fan.

5. Shape-ups

6. Black shoes worn with visible white socks. looks silly.

Mickey Mouse

I am in love with my Mickey Mouse shirt! I have been wanting a heather gray Mickey shirt for a few months now and couldn't seem to find the right one. Then I walked into Target 2 weeks ago and saw it...I was so excited! I wore the shirt with the black denim mini skirt, heart tights and studded biker boots. Studs & Lace

Here is my new black lace dress! I have wanted a black lace dress for months and months and could never find the right one, but finally I have! I found this dress at TJ Maxx yesterday for $14.99!!! I paired the girly lace dress, pearls and heart tights with a DIY leather jacket, red zipper purse and red heels for an edgy meets lady-like look! I hope you like it. December Morning

Here is my newest lookbook outfit! I bought this jade green tank at TJ Max in early Fall and haven't even worn it out until today. The tank straps and top border is lined with silver beading and silver sequins. I paired the tank with my black bubble skirt because I hadn't wore it in a long time. I chose maroon tights to wear and automatically thought to wear my plaid scarf with the look. I wore my black drape cardigan to finish off the look. Purple Skirt

Here is another new skirt from forever 21. I love the rich purple color in this mini-skirt! I paired the skirt with a basic long sleeve black shirt and black leggings. American Rock & Roll

My fave rock band is Aerosmith, so I collect a lot of their band t-shirts & hoodies! I chose to pair the band hoodie with my new leopard print skirt from Forever 21 and studded biker boots. The leopard print and studded biker boots are things that Steven Tyler from Aerosmith is famous for wearing and I love to get inspiration from his unique/crazy amazing style. I bought the gun metal sequin scarf at Walmart and wore it as a head wrap to add a little sparkle. I accessorized the look with a multi-layer chain necklace and wide elastic belt to cinch my waist. I found this bird printed dress at Goodwill for $4. I love finding cute clothes for cheap, it makes my heart warm! I paired it will black leggings and some black motorcycle boots.
